Welcome to Shrikrishna Mahavidyalaya, Library (KRC) In this digital era, the role of libraries has become more complex and multidimensional. There are various types and services of e-resources, various modern methods/ technique and procedures for effective information retrieval and dissemination and with this, libraries have to improve their services and products to promote their use in productive way.

Shrikrishna Mahavidyalaya, Library is a combination of traditional print resources as well as e-resources, providing the services accordingly. The library is enriched with 17526 books which include text books, reference books. Library subscribes to 41 periodicals and 08 newspapers and back volumes of periodicals. Library possesses highly valuable volumes of which are most sought after by faculty and researchers like Encyclopedia of Britanica, Encyclopedia, Martahi Vishwakosh, Encyclopedia of Social Science, Yearbooks, dictionaries Special Collection of Human Rights, Women Developments, Mahatama Gandhi, Swami Vivekanada, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and Competitive Exam Books etc

Library has 600+ student members and 40+ teaching and non-teaching staff as library members. The centre has a separate e-Suvidha (Student Facility section) with 05 computers having Broadband Internet Connectivity which provides access to Subscribed and Open access Databases like INFLIBNET's N-LIST, NDL (National Digital Library), NISCAIR's Online Periodicals Repository (NOPR), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Dr. B.A.M.U. Knowledge Resource Centre's free e-resources to teachers and students.

As an extension activity and social activity, the Library organizes programs on Birth and Death Anniversaries, Days of National Importance etc. following the Government Resolutions as published annually by Government of Maharashtra.

Every year library organizes various activities like Books Exhibition on various occasions. Institutional Repository, Digital Library, Library E-bulletin 'SKMLIB', Web-OPAC , Information literacy programme, reprographic services, reference service are some of the special services provided by the library.
